Meetings & Education

The PIAA provides comprehensive educational opportunities for its member companies, to help them meet the ongoing needs of their insured physicians, dentists, other healthcare providers, as well as the needs of the patients of these insureds.  The PIAA regularly holds workshops and professional meetings for the multiple professions that work within an insurance carrier.  Through these meetings, members are able to establish and improve risk management, underwriting, claims handling, marketing, finance, human resources management, and advocacy.  The PIAA is accredited by the respective professional organizations that offer continuing education credits to physicians, dentists, and accountants.

Program content for the PIAA’s meeting and workshops is determined by committees of member company representatives.  This ensures that PIAA meetings focus on current areas of interest and the specific needs of this industry’s professionals.
