Data Sharing Project

Since 1985, the PIAA has maintained its Data Sharing Project (DSP).  This project houses a huge volume of information for research on medical liability issues.  The Data Sharing Project analyzes member company data to develop a national overview of claim trends, and to identify the areas of practice most vulnerable to liability claims.  PIAA researchers update our database semiannually, producing reliable and timely statistics.  Government agencies, media outlets, medical schools, private healthcare organizations, and member companies have all benefited from information derived from the PIAA’s data and research.

The Data Sharing Project is a unique and an invaluable resource for industry professionals. Contact P. Divya Parikh, director of research and loss prevention, to learn how your company can contribute.
